this video has been churning and churning in my head and harddrive for almost a year. no matter what i include or exclude, i always want to do it differently, so finally, i just wanted to finish the thing and upload it and get it out of my head. the music is sarah harmer singing "xmas in prison", a song written by john prine. the cows, as always are my wonderful friends here at the factory farm where i work. the cow with the calf is 71, the oldest cow here at the farm. she's 11 years old, which is twice as old as the average life expectancy here at the farm. sadly, that's only half of the 25 years that a cow could live if she had pasture and was cared for. more than anything, i wanted this video to show the unconditional love that these animals have and bring to my life. i hope some ppl will understand this video. i'm sure many will not, however.
i kept this video simple and free from captions purposely. enjoy.
