Star Princess - View of a Storm

This video was shot during March 2009 and is filmed from the "Lobby Bar" on deck 5. It shows the view out of the window during a storm, which the ship was caught in for about 36 hours, eventually delaying the end of the cruise by 1 day.

The ship was off the coast of Chile, in the Southern Pacific Ocean. The log of the cruise showed an average wind speed of 50 knots. The inroom TV that show real-time wind information was showing a force 10 - storm to force 12 (hurrican) for much of the day.

No excuse for modern day cruise ships to sail in seas like that. Make a buck, make a buck, don't stay in port or ride around a storm but go right through it. Nice vid showing showing how an incredibly stupid cruise line operates.

man id be so sick, the gf was getting nausiated on our cruise with 10ft seas but thats more like 25 ft seas. Id be hurling nonstop. Id have to put the patch behind my ear!!!!

I like the back ground noise of all the plates crashing. We were in Crew bar in alaska and we had rough seas and all the crew were falling all over each other. Pretty funny sometimes.
