The pop up texts on this video are a lie. There are a number of tests for written expression, adhd, etc. They use scales which show a range that compares the student/person to the norm/average. One test is a measure of working memory, another tests grapho-motor skills. Again, its all about the range of function, not a set "score" that makes one "disordered."

Scientology uses a cheap lie detector (e-meter) and a bogus personality test, which ALWAYS finds that someone is disordered!!

Seriously, these drugs are toxic, experimental and addictive. It should be criminal to put kids on these drugs. If the kids are having trouble paying attention in school it is because school is nearly as boring as Dr. Sheldon herself. Finding teachers boring is not a psychiatric disorder which requires brain bending drugs. What a shameful woman this is. Her kind of ugly goes to the bone.

What SSRI's is Dr. Sheldon taking. Judging from her girth, she's likely on some weight gaining SSRI. Otherwise, she's suffering from some unspecified eating disorder which, according to her school of non-thought, she has no control over since it's genetic. And since she can not possibly control her obesity she should turn to big pharma for mental non-help. She is a textbook case of the Blind Leading the Blind mental disorder. DSM 7,000,000.001

I was diagnosed and treated for 9 years with Ritalin for ADHD from age 7 to 16 starting in 1984 and it was one of the most tramatic and WORST experiences of my life. Ritalin did all the things to me that you hear about...it changed my personality, it supressed my creativity, it gave me tics and tourettes which are permenant, I became addicted to it even though I hated it and only took it as prescribed. I went through withdrawel from it at the age of 16 for one solid year. No one ever helped me

So, by your logic, anyone who is below the national average IQ now has a "disorder". What a load of Orwellian crap. People are different, period. Some people learn slower, some faster. Learning slower does not mean you need the help of meth/cocaine to give you that edge on everyone else. You know what else could work? Sitting down and studying with your child... *GASP*

Here's what I think-

ADHD is real, it's the pharma companies that are bullshit. These days, every other kid is diagnosed with ADHD for the littlest things because it seems so convenient for moms to give their kid a pill to make them perfect. This is exactly what the pharmaceutical companies want. More $ for them. The symptoms of ADHD have become so broad you can diagnose anyone! Sometimes, kids as young as six are given stimulants such as adderall for childlike hyperactivity/attention deficit!

adhd symptoms are very similar to mercury poison symptoms .. mercury contained in vaccines, which kids get way to many of now of days. Autism has also increased so much that it is very disturbing.

One man proved this but the governement refused to even listen to the results of this reputable research worker.

Big pharma creates diseases so that they can make money on the cures. Even former employees like of Eli Lilly (strattera makers) claim this.

this is not a disease or disorder --- the 'diagnosis' of 'disorder' is made because the psychiatrist actually does not understand how memory works and cannot actually assist the child to improve memory and direct themselves effectively
