The latest outing for members of the Ontario Plein Air Society. Just 3 of us made it out this time. It was cold and overcast, but we managed to get some good work done.

just a suggestion when painting in the cold - use a small rug to stand on. This is a Russian plein air trick.

there is a brotherhood among those who understand painting outdoors year round...all conditions. Not just with an aim of leaving one's mark on the canvas, but recorgnizing that the spark of life itself, nature...leaves its indelible mark upon the artist's soul. Was neat to watch...from one that paints in northern Wisconsin!
