****************************************************************
Medal of Honor is a short school project based on true events but written with fictional characters due to copywrites. We used the project as an excuse to shoot a pilot for a TV series that would inform viewers of the recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor. because we had a budget lower than $2,000 and we were limited to my front yard, only so much is historically accurate. sorry reenactors!

Shooting time was about 3 days with one single Sony Z1u with Redrock m2 Nikon setup. Video editing was on FCP and audio was on Vegas 7 with a total of almost 43 lines of audio!!! The soundtrack consists of "Hannibal", "Davinci Code", "Signs", "Transformers", and "Last Samurai". overall production from start to end was about 4 months. This was for Santa Ana Community college's TV298 class.

****************************************************************
*The budget was low so not all props and uniforms follow military spec, but future episodes will obsess over these details.

*The shots are all tight, that's because i had a freeway and houses surrounding me!

Please rate my video

Thank you and God bless!

  • @Andersonkchacal Alright, I'm Russian, and I think you are completely retarded. Chinas army is completely overrated. Sure, you have 2 billion people, but you don't have the resources to move those, nor do you have the equipment to deal with any modern superpower. Brazil's armed forces are a complete joke. and North Korea? It's army consists of a bunch of underfed and undertrained deluded idiots. As far as modernization goes, their main battle tank is a bastardized T-55.

  • @Andersonkchacal look Friend, if they even attempt that. We have startegic missle silo's ready at a moments notice to release hundreds of nuclear warheads on all countries of the world. It is proven only 20 nukes will end the world and cause a Nuclear Winter. If we go down we're taking you with us. USA USA USA USA!!!!!

  • Nice work bro

  • It's always like, movies that tell the Americans are always the hero but it's actually the opposite. The Americans were deluded with Hollywood movies are defending the wrong country, the Government of the United States is evil. In the third world war China will be the largest power in the world, because China, Russia, Brazil and North Korea destroyed the United States of America the waste of humanity.

  • Besides some gear inaccuracies, best war film I've seen on youtube. The quality of the actual picture and the acting made the setting very realistic. Just get the guns and gear worked out, and HBO will be begging you to do a Vietnam version of BoB.

I understand how expensive the gear is though, I'm a Vietnam collector and I'm scrapeing up change to get original surplus.

  • @yakfitguy dude shut the fuck up no one wants to hear your gun knowledge you no life get a girlfriend

  • fuck, this was so good

  • this video would be better if there was the vietnam era m16. also some muzzle flash mabye? if it was in there i didnt see it.

  • GOOOOD MORNING Vietnam
