Easy "Gospel" Chop

Aaaaa, yes....what a better way to share my licks with my drum brothers than to do it on the WORST KIT IN THE WORLD. I don't even know if you can call this a "gospel chop", but it sounds cool and is alot of fun to play. Try it out and send me clips of you incorporating it - would love to see how it's supposed to be played! HAHA!

there's like a 2 min reverb tail in that room, hard to hear it man : ) but looked like a useful lick!

hahaha - you're right it really is atrocious sound. I just dont have the time to mic everything etc etc...call it laziness. as for the lick, it actually works better as a fill - try and split up your hands around the toms / hh and it has a real Vinnie/Chambers feel if you put it in the right spot.
