http://www.strengthtraining4baseball.com How to Increase Hitting Power and Bat Speed with baseball forearm exercises. Swinging a bat is tough on the forearms, and if you want to be a stronger hitter....you're gonna need stronger forearms. Most often the forearms are primarily trained in a flexion/extension manner. But here, Brad shows you how to bolster your forearms for increased hitting power by training the forearms in a supination/pronation pattern. @jrjahn11 Your legs provide the whipping of your arms. The wrist snap (caused by the legs) provides the power. You seem to suggest that wrist strength is responsible for the balls going out of the park. I had huge forearms. I worked them out until I couldn't touch my shoulders. People said I had ripped forearms. Well, guess what? I didn't hardly hit homeruns because never learned (never knew) to generate torque and power with my leg muscles.Instead, I wasted time making my forearms big.

@risibile you forearms, elbow, and wrists give the whip where the balls just jumping off the bat which gives you those balls that just keep carrying until they go out

This is a misconception. The bonus is that you'll have some good pipes for the ladies and 3% extra power. Do you really truly believe that your arms are going to help you double your homeruns compared to the power available in your legs and core? Strong forearms are important and hitters should make theirs strong like this guy's. But they are not a huge difference maker in power in a swing as he would have you believe.

Thank you for making this video. There is so much snake oil out there about legs, hips, core, rotational, linear, 7 steps, etc., ad nauseum. The simple fact is that hand, wrist, and arm strength are most important.
