I'm reading a lot of bashing but this movie wasn't actually bad. If Speed 1 never existed, this one would of been pretty good but it seems everyone comparing Jason Patric to Keanu and that's not fair to Jason. Sure, Keanu is more charismatic and charming and better looking but I thought William Defoe did this movie justice. Watch it again and then post your thoughts.

I finally saw this movie and the critics were right on. This is one of the greatest movies of all time and I rank it up there with Casablanca and Gone With the Wind. Jason Patrick is the greatest actor of our generation and makes Jack Nicholson look like an amateur with his performance in Speed 2, this fantatic pile of steaming shit.

With this film they should of either got Keanua Reeves for the lead or just made a totally separate movie not connected with Speed then it might have been looked at more favorably.
