I've seen him and Joanna twice. At the Ashcroft Opera house, which sadly, is no longer open. People acutally listened to him there, like they came to hear the music, not just sit and drink like the band was 'background'...
I wish I could see them again. They were wonderful. I love his stuff, but also, he can do Tom Waits stuff like nobody's business.

I love Scott Nolan Band; a friend of Scott's introduced me to them about 5 years ago - incredible. I've been to Winniped several times but they are always elsewhere on tour. Someday. Both their albums are worth buying.

3 years after this was posted I think its safe to say Scott is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry....he just keeps putting out some of the best melodies with the most riveting lyrics to be found....he and Joanna are a show to take in whenever the opportunity arises....don't miss them....and every cd is a keeper....I love the music!
