A truelly gifted musician Jimmy Lea..gret bass player and keyboard player..Slade were lucky to have him..If you listen to bass lines they are so beautifully constructed to compliment the rest of the band..It was a gift to Holder Lea was classically trained for sure..Lea's bass playing owes so much to his classical violin playing..He added so much..very underrated. Always the very serious musician in the band...Thanks for posting..a real treat!

@scubarojo There's a Slade show at Winterland in '75 on Wolfgang's Vault where they play this song and a bunch of others.

Saw SLADE first on maybe Don Kirtchners Rock Concert shows, Maybe 73, or 74 and said holy crap, who the f*ck are these guys. Then got to see them at Winter Land in SF soon after. Noddy's cover of Janis Joplin's Move Over was really something. Anybody got a vid of that tune? What a great band.
Is there any singers with a cooler face?

Slade is the rare band who seem to enjoy the music as much as their fans. Everyone having a good time.
