Russia's fighter jet, the PAK-FA (T-50), has made its first public flight at MAKS-2011 airshow today. The jet is expected to be equipped with some of the most advance avionics to appear in the world. It will be able to land on short runways and fly in any weather. It can carry up to eight medium range or two long-range missiles in its two internal bays. The jet's first prototype performed its maiden flight last January, and carried out several dozens of test flights. The 5th generation fighter is to be included in the inventory of the Russia's Air Force in 2015.

  • F22 clone

  • @bonecrusher54367 I guess most air crafts looks like each other ..two wings , cockpit, tail/tailless, turbojet engines , firing capability :D

  • @6308281 contd. it was then Lockheed produced F 117 by expanding and further researching on his theories under the leadership and guidance of Benjamin Robert Rich. These research works are extensively used in the B-2 spirit bomber stealth air craft used by USAF today. So technically the so called stealth technology came from the soviets. + stealth is all exaggerated concept , the Iranians shot down US's super advanced Hi-Tech stealth drone..-__- Sounds shit doesn't it :D

  • @6308281 Pyotr Yakovlevich Ufimtsev, a Soviet/Russian physicist & mathematician, considered the seminal force behind modern stealth aircraft technology. In the 1960s he began developing equations for predicting the reflection of electromagnetic waves from simple two-dimensional shapes. Much of Ufimtsev's work was translated into English, and in the 1970s American Lockheed engineers began to expand upon some of his theories to create the concept of aircraft with reduced radar signatures.

  • hmm why is this called a stealth when it's far from being one - BTW The US has been building and flying and using stealths for over forty years. Pretty much tells you they also have the capabilties to see and track it - pretty much makes this wanna be Obsolete

  • @Techrat3D its theirs, they did not barrow shit
