Hello dudes and dudettes! :]

A fresh new video for all G73 lovers and those who wants to become in the future ;)

Now i have tested the brand new GTA DLC for PC on this baby! I've downgradet my ! 10.4 ! drivers to the original ASUS 9.12 one. It really achieves more FPS in many games. And *pah* the long load times in Battlefield - BC 2 = just 30 secs longer? Where young boys, so we've got the time! ;)

Its just a bit time to wait, until ASUS releases a newer driver for the 5870m

This vid Shows the "Ballad of Gay Tony"- DLC. Driving arround with cool cars with my favorite settings then with 100 vehicle density plus 100/100 view details and the again with 10/20 view details and 100 vehicle density!

AND after that - for Celebration: A Club- Journey :] (quite funny) I Love that ambience in that game!!

So then! See ya for more videos!

  • OH man that's great! Thanks for creating this video. I've been looking for a test like this for a couple months. I'm looking to buy a new laptop, but I wanted something that is at least comparable to the PS3 or 360 in terms of gaming power. If it's something that can slightly surpass these consoles and come with a great price(for a gaming laptop), that will seal the deal for me. Now I need someone to do a test with Street fighter 4 .

    Thanks

This G73 Model also has a full HD Display. Ok,this model costs arround 1700$. in Germany i've paid 1699€ for this; what a great Deal by the way! XD (ironic) In comparision with this price and performance and costs of an PS3.. not a geat deal!

So if you more a consoleró and not so much a PC gamer, i recommend to use consoles!

  • This Gaming Machine here is definitive faster than a 360 or PS3. I own a PS3 and most of that games handled, are in 720p resolution and running at least with 30fps.. ok some games (mostly arcade genre) are running with more FPS and in FullHD resolution BTW: i love God of War 3!!! XDD ...[continued]

  • DE LUJO YO JUEGO GTA IV PERO AVECES SE ME VE MAS LENTO QUE RIÓ DE SEMENTÓ

  • @weissbr0t $1700?!? I thought it was $1500!

  • @Adamd895 You should patch it to the lower versions like 1.0.4.0, because the newer patches have really bad performance. I am currently using patch 1.0.4.0 and I get around 35 to 50 FPS on max settings. The average FPS, according to the benchmark is 45.92. Also, don't use turbo boost.

  • @weissbr0t why do i get microstutters when i play gta 4 (regular version) on my asus g73? is my computer broke?

  • @TBUClan i7 all the way

  • Hi, is this i5 or i7?

  • The frame rate looks great!

    Is it?

  • You should have FRAPS running next time ;) Well...not like recording....but just so we can see the true fps.

    Thanks for the vid

  • @salsa101 Amount of RAM doesn't effect gaming performance that drastically and in most cases, neither does the CPU Clock. It is all about the GPU speed, type of nm manufacturing process / size and type of memory. For example a GPU with DDR3 memory and a 256 Bit Bus could be out performed by a GPU that has a smaller 128 Bit Bus paired with GDDR5 type VRAM.

  • @Nenyana When I picked up the desktop, I also picked up Arkham asylum. I was expecting 10 times performance, but when I started the game, It ran super slow. Even at the lowest possible settings, it still didn't run as fast as my 360. Now that I'm looking for something better, this time I can shop smarter. Youtube is so perfect for this, because I can actually see performance tests on a variety of games and not just one that I can afford at that time.
