I never buy from ebay, my first experience with them was bad! Me and my friend pitched in to buy the NEW ps3 (when it was likee $1000 on ebay) and what we got was not a ps3 but
3 PS1's!!! we tried everything to get a refund but we could not. Amazon has been very good when i order stuff there its legit. Also you could have bought it at a store? or even at the actual website,no?.

They said that I recieved an email from them but I only recieve emails that didn't say who they are from. i appeled it, but lost the case. Seller denied that he received the item even though i provided prove that item was delivered and sign for. He kept the item + my 250.00 of my money which Thanks to paypal i got screwed!! FUCK YOU PAYPAL!!!!

I bought a LCD moniter on ebay from ATLANTA NETWORK TECHNOLOGIES INC. at 80 Micro Drive Jonestown,PA
Paypal decided in my favor to return the merchandise, so i did send it back at the address it was sent from. I returned the item back to the seller and provided a signature comfimation to paypal. After item was delivered and signed for, paypal decided not to refund me the money because they claim that that I sent the item to the wrong address.

i would email this video to tech support at adobe and give them your info they will contact you and let thier high dollar lawyers figure it out.. alot of people like you are pissed i myself had bought a yamaha factory service cd and it was also a crack i sent it to yamaha and ebay needless to say yamaha sent me an original for free for feeding them the info on my purchase

That really sucks. I can only imagine the stress you must've felt when you opened the box. Does this not fall under "Item significantly not as described" protection? You should've initiated a chargeback immediately because you didn't get the advertised item. PayPal in turn should then deal with the seller. Should've opened the box in front of a mailman or in the post office with witnesses. Report him to his local authorities too just in case. If people keep reporting him, it will add up.

Thanks for your response. I tried to go through PayPal at first, but within a week I filed the chargeback. Once I filed the chargeback, PayPal updated their records to close my original claim and open a record of the chargeback. At that time they marked the status as 'under investigation'. Several weeks later PayPal closed the case with no information posted. I contacted them and they told me that they couldn't tell me anything; it was all up to Visa.

Someone at Bank America said that PayPal had disputed my claim and told the bank that I was not due a refund. If you Google for info on PayPal you will find one horror story after another. PayPal is anything but safe and secure. Incidentally, I did file a complaint with the postal inspector and with the Internet fraud police (partners with FBI).

If all of this wasn't enough, I believe that the seller auctioned off a number of these pirated copies. I confronted him with the fact that it was pirated. He responded by telling me that all of the other recipients were satisfied with the product. Adobe wants the disk so they can pursue charges, but PayPal and Visa both told me to send it back to the seller thereby effectively destroying the evidence. The seller told me he wasn't taking the software back.
