Greedo Shoots First (Part 2)

In the upcoming 3D version of star wars, Greedo not only shoots first, but gives Han damn good reason to shoot back. Lucas has now finally succeeded in showing us that Han is a good man who had no choice but to kill Greedo in self defense, and defense of others

He made edits even before episode 1 was released. The first special editions were in theaters in 1997 whereas the Phantom Menace was 1999. Your argument is flawed. George Lucas was nuts all along.

@enlighteneveryone I was really looking forward to the prequels, most people were. Sure there was a pocket of fans that didn't want them but welcome to the artistic world; there's absolutely nothing you can do that will please everyone. George Lucas knows this, any artist knows this.

But I will not give the man any sympathy for the prequels. Those films are utter garbage. And the edits he has made aren't just stupid, they're completely un-needed. Why fix what isn't broken?

@milkenobi Do you know what fans were gangbanging him for just making Episode i? The man's been slapped from left and right ever since, and as a retaliation after 10+ years of it, he makes small edits in certain scenes. He wasn't nuts. Just fed up with crazy people.
