Mike Patton's Mondo Cane performing The Blackmen's "Urlo Negro" in torrential rain at the Domain in Sydney, Saturday 14th January, 2012.

The rain became so heavy that the band had to run for cover in order to protect their instruments! Check out the downpour at 4:17!
(FYI, in Sydney, it hardly ever rains, but when it DOES rain, it rains HARD. REALLY HARD. Like it's the end of the world...........................but then it stops as suddenly as it started. In Australia everything is pretty full-on. Not exactly your wussy, underpantsy, pink doily, tea party kind of place!)

  • How long did you have to wait for them to come back on?

  • @streetyable We didn't have to wait long. The rain never lasts long in Sydney. Half an hour? More? I don't know. I would have stayed in the rain waiting for that man FOREVER. You don't want to know how long I would've waited! If he hadn't come back on, I might still be there now!!!!!

(BTW it took four days for my little red shoes to dry off. Poor little red shoes. They didn't know what hit them. They will never be the same. IT WAS WORTH IT.)

  • I went insane to this song.

  • @FormerlyMrBean667 I was actually kinda hoping it would keep pouring down because for a while there it was like we had descended into the underworld!

  • @streetyable Oh, far out! How cool!!

(Did they say what Mike Bordin was buying in the record store?)

  • @streetyable Should add, that earlier that day my friends met Mike Bordin in a record store and got him to write me a msg and autograph and later I managed to say a quick hello to Roddy before the gig...Back then Mike 'didn't do people' and didn't show :( lol!!

  • @MsPacMan723 I know exactly where you are coming from! I would have waited too...What a guy...Haven't seen him live for years, can you believe the last time was with FNM in 1992 at Brixton, London!!!!!!! I'm way overdue!!!!

  • :o How cool was that?!!!

Holy shit... I cannot even imagine :)

  • @FormerlyMrBean667 Me too! Insane in the MEMBRANE! (Now you know why my camera is wobbling so much!!!!!!)
