Disney Aristocats Buena Vista and Titles

This is certainly one of the rarest of Buena Vistas. When originally released in 1970, this is how the movie began. When rereleased, the Buena Vista was removed in favor of the Walt Disney Pictures logo - that is what is available on VHS and DVD. I received this from a friend.

No it has the 1990 Walt Disney Pictures logo.

Wow. Another rare Disney opening logo! They are still to find others like the RKO logos for "Song of the South" and "So Dear to My Heart," and for some reason, the RKO logo from "Cinderella" was not on the Platinum, but will hopefully be on the Diamond Edition.

Great find! Never seen the BV logo on "The Aristocats" before. This one is ultra rare. The 1996 and 2000 VHS and the 2008 DVD does have the 1990 Walt Disney Pictures logo, but no BV logo on there.

It is my understanding from the friend who gave it to me, that his friend owned a 16mm print of the entire movie, and I was sent just the beginning of that print as it had been transferred onto a video tape.
