Cacao supports cardiovascular health, helps balance blood sugar, increases brainpower, improves flexibility and bone health, decreases stress and strengthens overall immunity. Cacao is a powerful food that satisfies a sweet tooth while nourishing, energizing and strengthening the body.

Cacao can be purchased on line or in health food stores as a powder, nibs, beans, butter or in a bar. Cacao can be added to smoothies, used as the base in desserts, or eaten as a snack with other fruits and nuts.

Here are some ways to eat raw chocolate:
