  • Where did you order the sheet music from London Horn sound? I saw it online, but the website looked fake. Please help! :)

  • @Clark98 i don't remember where we got the music from actually (it's been 5 years...) but i know you can get all london horn sound sheet music on the paxman site. hope this helps!

  • that sounds vaguely familiar...almost like a recording by the London Horn Sound.

  • yep, that's actually where we heard it first. we ordered the music and did a bit of editing and voila! instant feature :-)

  • Mellophone is one of the best brass instruments created if you know how to play one correctly

  • Wandtam2442, the sousophone is an american intrument developed by John Phillip Sousa to "replace" the tuba in a marching band capacity.

A mellophone has a similar tonal range campared to the french horn. However, the melophone is physically related to the bugle-horns, ie. tuba, flugelhorn, etc. because of the piston valves and are more conical then the horn but are easier to play than the horn. Origions are obscure but were popularized by the american company Conn in the 1950s.

  • Mellos are trumpets on steroids i say. :) i love blasting peoples eardrums out.

  • This was performed very well. I play French Horn and Mellophone. I have an easier time playing the mellophone with a trumpet mouthpiece rather than with a horn mouthpiece. I'm getting a mellophone mouthpiece soon, so I will see if that's even better for me yet.

  • i love mellophones :)

  • @ghilliesniper15

    No, I don't, and I don't need to. I am not deaf.

I should had said the arrangements of this piece are garbage.

Whoever did it bridged the Tico Tico melodies with some Spanish music, the OLE at the end is a very nice touch LOL.

If you want to hear the real Mc Coy, please check Bertha Rojas & Barbosa-Lima, Ricardo Trein or Frank Vignola versions to name a few.

  • @wysiwyg248 have you even ever played mellophone?

  • Tico Tico - Ku-Ka-Re-Ku-Co:-))))

  • would it be possible to email music somehow? I know you worked hard on it from LHS, but it'd be really appreciated.
