@biancadalpra i agree, as in the difference to when he says joys and toys of our convenience...this song really is just amazing to me and hits me so hard every time i come back to it...im a huge metal fan and really love all talented music...a friend told me that is wasnt even real music because the piano sounds all "choppy" and the vocals are "all over the place"...but its ok, because small and close minded people always miss out on the best things in life....just wow, how talented...

Yes I know but to me that's what makes this song so different and unique.
Because the piano is so beautiful we can get distracted from the lyrics, maybe he didn't want that ... maybe he wants us to listen what he is saying. Also these words (You were strong in forming violence ) had to be said differently to the rest of the song, because it sounds nothing like 'We were strong performing silence'.That's my opnion anyways =]
