Senna was a brilliant driver, a great athlete, an intense competitor, and a great person. His death was a loss for the whole world. This was a sad, sad, day not only for Brasil but for all of us. We could do well to emmulate his example in whatever we are called to do in life. RIP Ayrton!

@Hapesky he was a great driver and i never saw him race when he was alive he died two years before i was born but ive seen some vids of him. That always sucks i had the same feeling when Dan Wheldon died ive met him and he raced at Daytona kart week when i raced. In Newcastle Indiana i was standing right next to him and my dad goes how can he fit into those skinny jeans? He heard and laughed and talked to me. It was devastating to me race hero, my inspiration for racing, gone in less than 1 hr

I was 14 at the time watching this race and i cried when Ayrton Senna died, Senna was my hero.

@TheMikeyH123 He retired from F1 at the end of the year or thereabouts because he was affected by seeing Senna there...obviously can't blame him.
