Lewis and Martin are seen here demonstrating and experimenting with the rhythmic possibilities of mixing dotted quavers with a standard 4/4 beat. This could also be interpreted as superimposing a 12/8 compound rhythm over a 4/4 drum pattern while sharing the same crochet tempo value.

The end result is a cross-rhythm which makes your brain less than sure about the pace of the music, forcing you to tap your foot/bob your head along to one instrument to fill in the 'empty' beats that your brain thinks 'should' be there.

Two things you have to admit:

1) That was a damn fine pinched harmonic at 0:08.

2) I had a nice ass.

Sorry the quality is terrible.
