He also insists that his food and sustenance when on tour be locally grown, and not acquired in a corporate grocery store. He runs biodiesel touring vehicles and insists on "Green Concerts". btw thx to the thumbs up, and Mr. Reed is on YouTube doing some extremely complex and experimental jazz live. he is a brilliant musician and I doubt if any musician would disagree. love this band.

Lou Reed: Without a doubt, the most overrated, vocally-challenged, clueless pseudo-intellectual leftist to ever make a fortune based solely on the gullibility of apocryphal music critics and the artless, easily impressed American public. Reed is the epitome of the arrogant, insolent "artist" who achieved success through blind luck & the blessings of a free market, capitalist society, a society he repeatedly disparages with thankless impunity. We should all be so lucky.
