In October of 2000, legendary illusionist, David Copperfield gave a free performance at New York's Grand Central Station in celebration of the first ever postal tribute to the art of magic. Copperfield was honored with the issuance of postage stamps from four different nations. Also honored were early magicians Harry Houdini, Harry Kellar and Howard Thurston. This clip is the footage of Copperfield's performance, the postal ceremony and some resulting news coverage.

  • I'm so glad someone posted this... with all the CRAP-TASTIC magic on TV lately, I needed to see this to remind me just how great magic can be. It inspires people when it's done right. And watching this returned a sense of pride in being a magician. Thanks!
