i remember the sable moment, i was 6 years old. The greatest match of the Attitude Era was TLC Wrestlemania 17 because it left a legacy for the 'PG' Era.

eric what did u think of kat in armageddon 1999

This video is very nearly a sociological discussion. This is awesome.

@therock19 A-men to that brother! The attitude era was absolutely the best!Even gay wrestlers like Shawn Micheals were cool because they got away from those baby-shit gimicks and stupid-ass'ed, baby story-lines and actually started to act like adults. The women saved the WWF's ass with their erotic wrestling when the WWF was up against NITRO and Vince shit on em' the first chance he got so he could take the whole business back to the God-damn Doink the Clown and Repo-Man days! What baby bullshit
-
The Attitude Era was needed in order to form an effective competition to counter Monday Nitro because Vince had his back to the wall and he needed to attract as many fans to his show as possible. The adult-oriented, attitude era attracted legions of fans and burried WCW once and for all. If people want the "Doink the Clown" and "Repo-man" era to come back then you all need to get together for a group "thunb suck" because that's baby shit. WWE is going back into the toilet because it's for babies
-
the thing is with the Attitude Era, sure there was a lot of talking and skits but I never remember being aware of it? I think it shows that when something is good it works whatever the case. maybe it's just that these days the talking and storylines just sucks.

@rgreenberg35 RIP to that era. 2002-2005
-
Im sorry but the attitude era was the best time to be a wrestling fan. Not having a go but you had everything yh some of it was discusting like may young giving birth to a hand etc but it was still entertaining and thats what people love been entertained. WWE now is just awfull i cant even watch it anymore.
-
I think thats why they created SmackDown because smackdown focused more on the wrestling matches than Raw. Raw was more to the entertainment still to this day. 20 min promo, 3-5 min matches.

Ruthless Aggression was better

As If You Lot had such a bug up ur asse about the attitude era when u was young and watchin it....looking back on it mayb u can think hey yeah maybe sables tits on show in front of a load of kids is uncomfortable or immoral or whatever but at the time i'll bet u didnt over analyze it!!what the guy who made the last comment is gettin at is...u are makin it sound like at the time of the attitude era u was as smart to the business as u r now, which i highly doubt!!im 24 been watchin since 1990!!

@T2DIDDY First of all asshole, we're analyzing it, not over-analyzing it. Second, I can't speak for anyone but me, but those are all the feelings & thoughts I had at the time, so just because you didn't fuckin 'get' what was happening in front of your face at the time doesn't make me as stupid as you. Go post somewhere else where maybe they'll tolerate being told how they were 10 years ago by someone on the fucking internet they don't even know. Jerk off.

You put your ages on the screen. Weren't you guys all in the 9-12 range DURING the attitude era? You guys were kids.
So explain to me how you "remember" the cartoon characters from the early 90s? You didn't experience it, you saw it years after it happened.
At 9-12 years old did you guys really know all about the backstage stuff? Of course not. All of your commentary is if you watched the stuff TODAY.
Comment on what you felt THEN, not now. Because now it doesn't matter. Ex: The sable story.

@sauron9990 Since you can't read, or perhaps don't understand what you read, I'll have to explain it : That is how long we've been FANS. See, where it says, "Fan - ___ years?" That means we've been fans that long, not how long we've been alive. Furthermore, we'll comment on whatever we fuckin feel like, because, I dunno, some us do something called "reading" or "research." We're commenting on what we felt then, what we feel now, whatever we want. So go tell someone else to do, genius.

why does no one mention the one legged kid that mcmahon and lesnar were beating up every week. made me stop watching.
mychannelisgone 1 year ago
@mychannelisgone Because that was long after the Attitude Era, in 2003. But while we're on the subject, that was a freakshow we didn't particularly need, was it? heh
