  • Otis, made it clear in his book that Paul was the true Temptaion he was the soul, and creative force of the group. Otis had freakin 2 left feet until Paul teached him how to move. He was way beyond his time and instilled a image for the group to live by. If any of you get a chance listen to Paul sing For Once In My Life you can feel what he was going thru. He had grown men crying and the end of the song when he sang it at The Copa. Paul kickd butt and Otis still mention's him in his prayers.

  • well said! Of course noone is perfect...and whatever happened behind closed doors back then, it was more than just pushin someone to the back. Whatever they thought they doin has also the circumstances for one reason and the decisions Gordy made for another. For me, i know about Paul Williams, he is and will always be my favorite Temptation thats why wanted to share this with all of u. He will never be forgotten, no matter who's sayin this or who's sayin that....feel me?!?!

  • You know, a lot of peeopl wondered why Diana Ross didn't attend Michael Jackson's service. Well to be honest, Diana has probably seen enough death with Marvin Gaye, David Ruffin, Paul Williams, and Tami Terrell. She just probably cannot handle anymore death. PERIOD

  • I saw this TV special in 1968. To be honest I really wanted to see the Supremes. But Paul, Paul took my heart and tore it apart with the songs he sang. The soul, the agony, the joy, the pain and sorrow in his voice is so piercing. Oh how I wish he was still here. Diana's voice was at it's best next to Paul yet he out-shined her. Paul Williams you were truly special and memorable. Rest now Paul. No one can hurt you now. May the PEACE OF THE LORD BE ALWAYS WITH YOU!

  • it's me again, I often come here when I'm feeling down or sad; to hear Diana & Paul sing it's pure magic; the Supremes & Temps their music is timeless; they together opened doors for all minorities (Blacks, Hispanics, Native American); to do what they did in the 60's my God that alone was sensational; to my Minority Brothers and Sisters please give these artists their recognition; without them there would have been no Michael jackson and others; Diana & Mary, get your shit together and tour NOW

  • I am SissyGirl; I posted about this song 2 years ago; the Supremes & Temptations for whatever reason Berry & Motown had opened doors for all minority entertainers; remember their heyday was in the 60's; when social unrest and bigority was at the highest level; yet, with their talents the not only opened door they tore them down, said here we are; they were so tough, so talented, so cool yet so classy, like some famous people they may not have handled their personal business properly;

  • He could SANG!!!

  • @mamaspearl24 What was the cause of Paul's death, ? He & Eddie Kendrick's were the voices of the Temps RIP GUY'S YOUR MUSIC WILL LIVE ON FOR GENERATION'S TO ENJOY.

  • Looking @ Diana Ross in this clip and her daughter Rhonda now, they look identical!!! I never really saw a pic of Diana from back then that I was blown away by til this clip!! LOVELY!!

  • Paul Williams had the most beautiful voice. And Diana Ross couldn't attend Michael;s memorial service, because she was so great stricken...same with Quincy Jones and Liz. Just too heartbreaking for all of them...

  • @freddystubbs3001 she just couldn't handle seeing {MICHEAL} DEAD!

  • the man practically had everything, besides alcohol what other pain and secrete has this man hidden?? i saw the movie, and for his wife?? what the heck, she should have done a better job in helping her man... if that was my husband he would have still been here.. dang, what a waste.

  • Paul always sang with soo much emotion. You could feel the pain that he was going through on certain songs that he sang, He indeed was the heart and soul of The Temptations. Otis Williams spoke more highly of Paul than he did any of The Temptations in his book. It broke my heart that Paul lost his spirit and wasn't able to overcome the pain that he was going through. He left us too soon.

  • This is why Ms. Ross was THE Supreme of the Supremes, people who hate her are people who always tend to hate leaders or the talented, because the haters find themselves lacking!!!!!
