Featuring American/Canadian Serb children from through the Eastern Orthodox Diocese headed by His Grace Bishop, Dr. Mitrophan Kodic. The children sing and dance songs of their heritage that they learn during "Tambura Week" at Shadeland Camp, located halfway between Erie and Conneaut Lake, PA. The children were led by Nikola Jovic of Lackawanna, NY and Nicole Belich of PIttsburgh, PA. Throughout the week the children are educated and fed through caring Camp volunteers including the KSS ladies and mothers led by Millie Radovick, the devoted priests of the Diocese, and fathers who lend their talent one way or another, like Dan Vucelich, who served as MC on the Sound Board. You will love this, I'm sure! If only the old pioneers who built Shadeland into what it is today could see what their hard work has brought forth. But then, who's to say they didn't? God bless everyone of the hard-working kids shown here who love their American and Canadian heritage, but also value the gifts given to them from their ancestors of Serbian descent!
Mim, HVALA, for submitting this video! My favorite part was hearing the children sing: "Oj Srbi-jo" - my most favorite Serbian song! Brings back memories of my childhood days at St.Petka in JohnstownPA. God and His Angels have certainly Blessed You!
