@zachross77 actually very early punk started in late 60s Detroit, the punk mind-set is doing what you feel is right no matter what others say, in all honesty saying someone can't be a punk if they aren't a certain age is pretty close minded,

@nemogirl110 if you like bad religion and green day you'll probably like the offspring, nofx, pennywise, millencolin, no use for a name and others. You can go through the related videos on YouTube you'll find lots of stuff

I get sick of punks, you think the only bands that are worth your time are the most obscure ones you can think of and as soon as that band has an inkling of popularity you cast them aside as if they were sent to us by the almighty music industry themselves. Not only that, but bands like Bad Religion, Rancid, and NoFX are lumped in as well. You are labeling and labeling and you forget that punk rock was formed by people tearing down the walls that you have built yourself up in. You killed punk!
