These are some of the kids whom I often see on my visits to Navotas. They know me because of my camera, pretty much. I found this, however, an unusual reaction to a video camera. once they found out i was taking a video, and not a picture, they suddenly set out to attack one another. it was all in good play though. no children were harmed in the making of this video!

  • It is everywhere in the world & Phils is still lucky since and quite sure in Africa; you won't see same smiles, frenzy moves or dance but a stern & blank look because they are starving to death.

  • just for clarification, there are countries in africa, such as botswana and south africa, that do not face problems such as children starving to death. in a country like nigeria, you can find greater wealth than you can in the phils. do not say that an entire continent is nothing but ethiopian famines.

  • i really dont think they care they are to busy being kids and being cae free. just becasuse their country is has probs doesnt mean the kids should only worry about food and money.instead of feeling sorry for them selves these kids try to have fun with thier friends.

  • if you ever happen to walk into a neighbourhood like this one, never, not even once, tell these children not to worry about food and money. many of these children work long, hard days on the streets and in the landfills to earn the money needed to barely survive. and many don't. they have little time for self-pity. despite their apparent happiness, an empty stomach is an everyday thing.

  • Also unemployment is a huge problem there plus over population.the use of condoms could solve alot of problems, but who am i to say that since i am not a catholic.

  • it's a complicated situation, and i don't think i understand all its parts.

  • CALLING ALL FILIFINO'S ABROAD: Let us ALL unite as ONE, by helping the poor in OUR beloved country the Philippines. "WE cannot do everything, but WE can do something". Let's start with OUR barrangay first, then extend.."DON't asked what your country can do for you! "ASKED what you can do for your country" Let us break the "CYCLE OF POVERTY" by given one child (s) an EDUCATION. WE cannot help them all, BUT we can START by helping ONE, then TWO...IN LORD JESUS CHRIST NAME...AMEN! GOD BLESS

  • fuck the rich.

  • @touchiness2009 bullshit

  • @atebane yes I understand keep church and state apart. The church runs the goverment, the over population issue is cause by the church. Also filipinos like to have many children and play the odds game that one of them will go abroad and then send remittance back to look after the family. Just ask many OFW. Also the goverment in Philippines sets remittance targets, crazy. Everything is priced retail too in small towns so people can't save buy purchase in bulk. Many other issues too.

  • when ever im there in navotas i see beautifull children having fun always smilling

  • for all here who comment and live by rules of the catholic church maybe you should stop and ask yourselves what has the catholic church done for the poor people in any country .and the answer is NOTHING .the vatican has more wealth then some countries and they give nothing back .corrupt pedofile priests and the church condones it .i hope to live long enough to see the catholic empire in ruins

  • @gubound no it's spelled Filipino.

    Filipino style ^^

  • @gubound i know that it is philipino so....

  • The Corporate Defacto Goverments are not doing a proper job.

read the ICESCR Covenant and The universal declaration of human rights.

  • this is a typical scene in almost every street, especially in manila. this is not a happy scene since most of this kids have no future.

  • man..what a poor bitch..okay..you can die...
