Remains of extinct Ice Age mammals, such as woolly mammoths, that have been held in Siberia's vast permafrost are thawing.

Several well-preserved carcasses are now offering a new fortune to scientists and traders.

  • Age of the earth 6,000 years roughly - dated to Noah's flood. This would have instantly caused instant freezing of polar caps - Hydrology - science of waters effect upon the earth. Flood the best explanation that I am satisfied with. I don't want to admit creation theory, but I am forced to, looking at the evidence.

  • @davetileguy lol... man invented the comunication methods we use... Not gods... So seeing as im a man. I can comunicate how i like.

No offence. I im NOT saying there isnt a god, i will not deny it to those people who beileve it but,... if their is, he/she/whatever... then their doing a really crappy job with being a "god".

  • @wantedlonewolf It's "rediculus" that you can't spell ridiculous !! it must be a sign from God !!!

  • @MadCornishBiker absolutley correct sir!!!! i will never understand why people dont believe in the bible when there is proof.. plus, what is even more remarkable is that egypt, sumerians, eskimos, even native americans.. different languages, time periods, and location all believed in some kind of deluge... i mean there have been fossils of sea creatures found on the tops of mountains for goodness sake :)

  • @jtyoung18 the only thing I can think of is a pole shift

  • The answer to how that might happen is found in the Genesis. The sudden downpour would have brought deep freezing temperatures that would swamp and freeze such animlals in an instant.. I can certainly think of no better explanation.

  • i want to know why there is mammoths found with tropical vegetation in their mouths. for the mammoths to be frozen instantly the temperature had to be -170f for that to happen. what could have caused that?

  • @DaAlphaOmega We use salt precisely because salt doesn't mix well with ice and drop the water transition temperature from solid to liquid: sea water freezes at -2 degrees, not 0 degrees for example. Ion coming from the salt (Na+ and Cl-) modify the equilibrium between hydrogen-oxygen bond that constitute ice. Think of it as something that can pull out water molecule out of it's solid, one by one.

I will look into the theory, but it sounds spooky. Never heard of it.
