Gunny is the best so far. And Scandi knives need a micro convex edge.

  • You seem to use the same blade shape on the knives you reviewed.

No drop point or clip point ? Those can also be very good for deer, no ?

I never looked at that the gunny blades. I will right now since im currently in need for a new knife.

And, must I say, the fact that you are seemingly an educated, smart, japanese man, I tend to believe you.

Youtube need more grownup and knowledgable guys like you. Too many teenagers just messing with their dad's cam and crappy knives.

  • @Retubetard Thank you very much for your kind words. I love slightly drop point knives very much. I don't skin deer much but directly approach the needed muscles. So I don't like skinning style knives like upswept blades or very deep belly. I don't like clip point nor spear point because the portion above the point is useless and annoying in twisting or turning blades. I prefer narrow blades. Thanks.

  • Did not you have a video that said that the f1 is not a good knife for hunting yes or not

  • @ronaldo77782 The original F1 Thermorum handle is no good for field game dressing because it is slick in that situation and its extended handle on the spine side is annoying for thumb stretching. And its bevel geometry is uselessly deep for hunting. I think it is basically a small survival knife. Thanks.

  • where are your japanese knives ;-)

  • @facatube They appear on Deer hunting knives #6 and #16. But I already traded them out. Thanks.

  • Thank you for your review. Swedish steel and design (TK2, etc.) is extremely good. You should have a look on Spanish knives (less expensive, very high quality). Greetings from Spain.

  • you do great videos ty for all the effort

  • Gotta love the Mora!

  • @w3b5h06un It is rampless Gunny w/ orange G10 and black liners. Many stocking dealers in the US will give you ramp removal modification for free. Thanks.
