cigar reviews review http://cigarobsession.com Arturo Fuente Anejo #50

This 5.1×50 maduro stick offers a blend similar to the OpusX inside its dark chocolate brown wrapper. The pack is very firm and dense, typical of a Fuente. The first draws provided a big pepper kick, medium-full body and rich flavors of coffee, earth and wood on the long finish. The finish stayed long throughout, changing to leather and nuts with the pepper coming and going but never as strong as the very start. Overall flavors transitioned a few times to leather, wood, nuts, hints of caramel always staying very rich smooth and satisfying. The burn was very good, draw was excellent and the ash stayed straight and tight all the way down. Thank you very much to CigarsDirect.com for generously donating this stick for review, its greatly appreciated! Photography by BG Pictures.

  • Very little happens by 'aging' at home. 90% of everything happens before the cigar is rolled.

  • That's called a claro wrapper - nothing wrong with it, you can age it if you wish, same as any other cigar, but it's good to go anytime!

  • Thank you very much!

  • Great review Bryan!

  • Picked up a box of this years 2010 Christmas release. :)

  • I live in vegas and there is a Arturo Fuentes store in the Caesars Palace. They have all the Opus X's, and also carry limited edition stuff, the only bad thing is that they kinda jack up the price a lot.

  • @exprime8 how did you track down a box of them??

  • you the man

  • @cigarobsession plus it's in the humidor at the cigar shop for a while
