  • Hi Guys,

Thanks for the video... Awesome crossbow - Just bought mine and wanted to know the brand of limb savers that you used and where did you get the arrow rest? The wisker bisket is ok, but I want something that does not make any contact to the arrow vanes and I really like the look too.

Please let me know what you can.

  • @adarkthinline thanks for the positive comment, 90% of things I get are negative. Limb saver is a brand but the model's I think are the normal ones they glue onto single not dual limbs and cut to fit. That's speculation. The rest is a biscut with the biscut wires/hairs cut out and archery blade rests bent and drilled into the frame of the rest. With that being said there's a plethera of rests from the ages he has to tinker with and customize. call them and find out though

  • @adarkthinline I'm uploading a better project for the tac15 QAD drop away on steroids it's a much better containment then this rest. It was beautiful watching it shoot, if your not subscribed just check back tomorrow and it should be up or search qad tac 15

  • It looks like it's used in "hunt to kill" steve austin. Gives some realism because this xbow is very bad ass.

  • @jordyd19 I think the air-rest isn't that popular because you need to customize your arrows, it's a tad expensive, and it's a newer product.

  • @Cokecanninja if those rests were any good everybody would be shooting them. I don't shoot whisker biscuit's either. The coolest thing I've seen on a few of them now is a HHA scope rail underneath and a rangefinder attached to the tac. That's a over and under lizard tounge target bow rest. So there's one on top and one on bottom. The string stopper rubber can be replaced with softer stuff too I'm sure.

  • @ondamedjedi I looked at the Scorpyd some. Looks pretty good, but not quite as powerful, or quiet, and a tad more heavy. It also doesn't have the rail-less design, which I like a lot. I'm actually tempted to get both crossbows. BTW, if I customized my TAC 15, I'd use a magnetic air-rest to replace the whisker biscuit.

  • @Cokecanninja 80yds it has a 1-1.2in group so yea it does. The scorpyd is better for the money but the tac is king right now

  • @jordyd19 But does it have 3-inch groups at 100 yards?

  • go check out the scorpyn rdt(reverse draw technology)-125(draw weight) it's allot more compact, easier to carry, pull and doesn't require expensive ass bolts still packs 130ft lbs with 475gr bolts and is under a grand for the package
