@windylou19 Its been a LONG time. But I think on the back of the blades (remove rear grille) there is a small allen/hex screw on the blades, unscrew that and they should come off, may need some force.

@clubcar98 I hope you can help me! I have one of these fans that desperately needs to be cleaned. You said you got yours apart to clean it?! How did you get the fan blades off? I can't figure it out for the life of me!
If you can point me to a manual, website - anything that could hep, I would appreciate it!

Ah ha! I had a feeling this was a K-Mart fan.
I had one of these my neighbor gave me in bad shape...it worked fabulously but I tore it apart to clean it, and it got tossed. It was a good old fan. It sure served well.
I am on the hunt for another, though.

Thanks! its definitely one of my "keeper" fans. Its like it was kept in climate controlled storage and never used. Check out my treasury box fan video if you get the chance. its another mint condition fan from the 70's and its quite rare. Thanks for your interest!
