Skyrim: Quest: The Blessing of Nature - Eldergleam Sanctuary

Quest: The Blessing of Nature - Eldergleam Sap
Traveled with Maurice to the Eldergleam Sanctuary (using healing, no horse, and fast travel to ensure he survived since I had not been there previously.) Equiped myself with the Nettlebone weapon obtained in the previous mission of the quest. Slashed the roots of the tree where shown. When you arrive to the last root blocking your path, Maurice will talk to you. If you prefer not to fight for the tree, ask him if he has a better idea and he will ask you to follow him to the tree and he will pray, receiving a sapling for you.

WTF man that guy died in my game too. did you do anything cool with that guy ? I loved the environment in this area.

@OlgerJan I loved the area too. He didn't have any extra perks that I was able to find other than the peaceful alternative to the quest... I do wonder if we'll see characters re-appear...maybe ot him though, he jumps to fights too much! haha

god, that stupid NPC thats supposed to follow u walked up to a giant and got one shotted, and right after that I found 2 dragons fightin so I had to kill them and save, so now I will never be able to get that second mission lol

@Zng0o lol, are you able to fight the hippies for the sap instead? (not that there's anything wrong with that ;)

*That NPC Maurice got himself killed by the giants too; I was suprised since he was stronger than I expected to begin with. I had to literally race him to the bad guys constantly. He was my first NPC tag-along experience in Skyrim... I haven't gotten to having a real one follower yet... ^__^

And here I was thinking it was a invisible wall stooping me (tried jumping around the roots) from getting the Sap LOL fail on my behalf lol
