Elder Scrolls V Skyrim - Quality beyond Legendary (Weapon and Armor Enhancement)

How to upgrade weapon and armors to qualities beyond legendary.

You can use the base stat skill of smithing, and the extra points generated from both enchanting and alchemy (skill increase potions) to net about 600 points in Smithing, which in the end will let you upgrade both weapons and armor beyond Legendary, not the title but stats-wise.

Weapons and armor can be improved using either a Grindstone (Weapons) or a Workbench (Armor). The level of improvement is based off whether you have the skill relating to the item (i.e. Steel Smith for improving a Steel Sword). Legendary is the final named upgrade, but you can continue to upgrade the armor/damage of your equipment with smithing levels over 100. You can use smithing armor enchantments and smithing potions to raise your smithing level over 100. Smithing skill can potentially reach 600+ with a perfect setup.

so once you got all that stuff handled, it's basicly the potion that allows you to improve them further for 30 sec?

@Naafalilargus Aye since it raises you above your current skill, and if you have Alchemy perks you can create potions with insane modifiers.

Why would I need the corpus enchanter perk for this?

@seimouralrom You wouldn't but in the end when you put two enchants on your gear, one of them is bound to be either stamina or health.

When i try to enchant for improve smithing it just gives me 1% even though i have 100 enchanting

@Ceryuk 100 enchanting has nothing to do with it, you need to use the proper soul, (grand soul gem being the highest) and as well as that you need to have the proper skills that increase your enchant profiency in enchanting.

Guys. Heres some things you need to know that he might not have mentioned.

1. Use Grand or Black Soul Gems

2. Get the first enchanting skill to +100%

3. Get the Armor Enchanting skill to Max!

how do i get blacksmith enchant

I'm alright at the moment. My armour rating is 537 so yeah... It takes like 5 minutes for a dragon to get [ ] health off me...

@CVCHBFAB If you have a very high one handed skill (Like 90 or something) then the damage for one handed weapons will go up a lot.

If people are wondering you have to make sure when you enchant your item for smithing that you use grand soul gems and make sure your enchantments are 100% better. This allows you to make the most improvements on armor and weapons

@jusbrutal Go into shops, and keep waiting until they have it in stock. Thats what I did. Worked like a charm.
