A short hop from Los Angeles International to McCarran (Las Vegas International) featuring the PMDG MD-11.
This route features the KEPEC2 arrival that passes over the Hoover Dam as a bonus.
This video features the ILS Category III B Autoland in broad daylight and good visibility conditions because...
A) Viewers know I can land planes properly if they watch my other videos with manual landings.
...and more importantly...
B) I believe autoland programming is one benchmark developers should be evaluated on. It doesn't matter if they model all of the other aircraft systems correctly if the ILS Category III B Autoland does not do a proper job of flaring and rolling out. Luckily, PMDG prides itself on quality and detail, and this video clearly demonstrates that quality with a text-book landing performed solely by the autopilot.
