Lost and Abandoned: Asylum

In this video we explore an old haunted asylum out in the middle of no where.

UPDATE:
It has come to our attention from the good people at UER that this place did not treat the insane and the information we were originally provided by the person who gave us directions to this location was inaccurate and confused with another place nearby. I do not claim or pretend to know everything about every location, and since they brought this up to me ive decided to update the info. I'm mature enough to admit when i'm wrong. This hospital was used to treat TB patients only. I have no records to verify if they died, were treated or what the outcome of there treatment was.

To address the "scream" heard in the video. It wasn't actually a scream. We know for a fact it was just wind blowing on the boom mic of our professional camera. Which is why only chris heard it. He wears a large headset so he can hear what the camera picks up to make sure i can be heard on camera. As well as to make sure there isn't too much wind noise heard during important dialog. Chris did however, decide to crank up the gain on the wind noise during post production to scare the shit out of me when i was watching the footage. I thought it was hilarious and we decided to keep it in the final cut of this video. We are afterall, entertainers. We want to make something interesting to watch. Not just average boring UE videos with creepy/copyrighted music in the background.

To preserve the location from vandals, be advised we do NOT give out exact details about how to get here. Nor will we go into any detailed discussion about anything that will help people find this place. We do not wish to encourage anyone without proper experience and safety equipment to put them selves in harms way.

at first i too thought the scream is real but if u use simple logic,the scream should echo through the hallways but it didn't

@DaRUde117 you fail at logic. i didnt hear the scream. only chris did...when the headphones on. logic suggest that it was a gust of win on the boom mic. ;) which is what it was...we just turned up the gain

So all we see in this video is real? nothing just put into the video just to make it more creepy? The Door near the end was all real? Was there a Third person to walk over the roof before you? did a third person slam the door? Pleas reply people, i really liked this. and if it's the real deal i will gladly subscribe. i love the Creepy feeling this video gave me.;-)

@andvas1994 The video is real. The sound of the door was real. The "Scream" was just a draft blowing on the boom mic. shadows were from our extra lighting equipment. (we use lighting rigs too sometimes...not just flashlights.

@mrbing70 i'm plenty handsome thanks. and IK explores some cool places for sure. However we don't use a 99 dollar handicam. we film our show with a $5k professional canon XL series camera, proper editing, and we confirm to youtubes copyright guidelines by not using copyrighted music so we can reach larger audiences. Sharing my hobby with thousands world wide, instead of just a few hundred in from a single forum. I wish to entertain and share with as many as i can to increase awareness.
