Ace Combat 5 Playthrough - Intro & Mission 1: 'Shorebirds'

As stated in the mission 4 video, the MP4 capture format is a lot crisper than the M2TS format I originally used. Don't believe me? Then play this video next to the original mission 1 upload, both at 720p, and compare the difference. You WILL see that the definition in this video is greater, especially when it comes to the subtitles and HUD lines. I'm doing this for everybody's viewing entertainment, so try and be grateful instead of hateful :-3

This was rendered out at 29.97 fps, and I've found a very tiny audio lag of around 0.2 of a second. You can make it out during Bartlett's "Better keep an eye on you..." line during the intro. I'll fiddle about in Vegas and see what I can do about it without having to change the timelines.

Anyway, back to business. You'll see that I did a lot better with the mission this time around, so much so that I got HAWK - GIGANTOR to spawn as well as a third flight of MiG-21s.

@Extremist316 I can only play the European PAL versions of the AC games. 'The Unsung War' = America/NTSC Territories and 'Squadron Leader' = UK/PAL Territories. It's the same thing for both AC4 and ACZ.

Anyway, Loving the quality of the videos man. When i try to find other Ace Combat videos, it's either recorded off screen, letterboxed, pillarboxed or just horrible quality. Keep it up!

Haha... I love when you mess around with your squadron. The video is in great quality too. I wish you can re-record the AC6 with that.

I honestly didn't thought M2TS > MP4 made that much of a difference: I did feel a definitive improvement, but not something I'd delete and reupload for. Still, better is better, and that's inarguable.

A couple of artifacts here and there, but that's it.

And finally this, the only AC I haven't TOTALLY spoiled (well, major stuff is impossible to avoid). Might as well do it now, seeing as I'll never get the damn game, and it's not there's a better playthrough :)

The start feels a bit rushed.
