The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn is an upcoming 2011 American performance capture 3D film based on The Adventures of Tintin, a series of comic books created by Belgian artist Georges "Hergé" Remi. It is directed by Steven Spielberg, produced by Peter Jackson. The script is based on three of the stories: The Crab with the Golden Claws, The Secret of the Unicorn and Red Rackham's Treasure. It is Spielberg's first animated film.
In theaters on December 23, 2011 in RealD 3D and IMAX.

Somebody should tell Peter Jackson that the Thom(p)sons are NOT twins. They don't share the same name, Thomson and Thompson, even though they're pronounced the same, in English and French (Dupond and Dupont in French). It's a common mistake, but you would expect that the makers of this movie would know that.
