2007 Corvette Z06 LSX Twin Turbo First 1/4 Mile Runs

First time at the track with the Twin Turbo Build. Car was having a lot of traction issues till about the 500' mark. Changing Tires and will go for 9's. Best part, drove it to and from the track which is about 30 minutes away!

WOW! that's one fast vette! what tires were you running during those runs? with that kind of trap speed i would expect slightly faster times which makes me think you were spinning quite a bit at the beginning. awesome job on the car. it look great and is obviously an amazing toy.

Durring those passes I was running BFG 345/18 Drag Radials. However, those tires were probably the wosrt tires I've ever owned. I have since switched over to M&H 345/18's and they hook up MUCH better. Had to rebuild the converter, but in the mean time ran a stock converter and on roughly same boost as above, ran 8 passes between 10.08-10.27 @ 143's

wow! you are absolutely flyin! i've heard a lot of people with tt vettes that are happy with the BFG. that's kind of weird. so you did have to change your stock wheel it looks like. do you use 18s and DR's on the street as well or do you change tires for everyday driving?

I would love to see someone with good power getting down the strip in the BFG's. The compund isn't right and it just shreds. I shaved off over 1/2 my tread doing 8 dyno pulls. The nittos we use for the dyno have 100 pulls and look fine. Yes I run CCW SP500's 18" all the way around and do run the Drag Radials on the street.

The Stock Mk4 Supras are twin turbo, So it wouldn't be much of a race, espcially a twin turbo C 6Zo6.

Can't wait to see a TT vette go up against a Supra TT.

Most of those guys put down American muscle.

So I wish to shove it back in their face with twin turbo V8.

twin turbo corvette......I bet that monster is stupid fast on the highway.......how fast have you had it up to? Good for atleast 200mph right?
