This video was a shocking example of how life and birth is transforming into something to be afraid of. Because of religion people cut off their sons and daughters genitals? People are too afraid to live a normal life because of what a non-existant GOD thinks. It only showed hospital scenes and children in uniforms , then adults in suits, slaves of the 21st Century. How can a man talk about the placenta in such a way and then just dismiss it as somthing to be cut and thrown away? LotusBirth

Wow, junior highschool-level biology. Is this the fruits of creationist "science", or did they have to steal it from real science?

god is not fact, god is philosophy and theory

@alienz312 No it was not. If it was the quran would be a lot thicker of a book, and it would not consist mainly of semittic and babylonic folklore. If you actually watch the video it's only a call to ignorance. Just because the author does not know how the system described came to be naturally we are to believe it was designed by a higher power.

@task2k its junior level only difference is that the entire process was explained in quran with precise perfection more than 1450 years back and no science was present.
the real wonder is how come a illiterate person named mohammed from deserts of arabia speak about this???

Science is about what we observe and scientific theories are things that explain the facts that we observe. It's not limited to things we can directly observe, far from it. i.e. quantum physics is almost entirely based on experiments we can't directly observe.
We know how new genetic information is formed and that's the most plausible explanation for flagellum also. If you can come up with something that would explain it otherwise, YOU'd be the one who'd have to demonstrate it

@RetardedCreationist If you bothered to look up what these features are, you would know that the pharyngeal arches, for example, are used to build several different components of the human body. Even fish do not have gills at the pharyngeal arch stage, some pharyngeal arches in fish are used to develop gills, while others are used to develop different components of the fish's body.

@GreenSlugg Obviously you missed my point. I never said no scientists were supersticious, there are many examples of scientists who are religious even today. My point is that actual science increases the knowledge we have through experiments, while creationism (which is really just a philosophy and not science at all) tries to fight the search for and spreading of this knowledge. In the case of this video they use the fruits of science to argue against it.

Science is based on what we can see. You have not experimentally debunked the irreducible complexity of the bacterial flagellum unless you have demonstrated a bacterial strain that completely lacked the information for a flagellum gradually develop a flagellum in a laboratory.

Virtually all of the founders of modern science, Luis Pasteur, Gregor Mendel, Raymond Damadian, were Christians who too the Bible seriously. So yes, this would be built on "real science" especially that pionered by Christian Creationists.
OK
i typed wrong

Poster boys for irreducable complexity (bacterial fagellum, blood clotting cascade, etc.) have been falsified. And they always will be, as science makes progress.
Scientific value of ID is absolutely zero. Just because we don't know some mecanisms YET (or just because people can't understand them), doesn't mean we won't some day. (and perhaps people learn, or at least study a subject before making these kind of claims)

SFS
some news about you
you have ALWAYS thought simply
and you will always go on doing it
and you will always stay like it
and in the end you will realize
yeah,indeed you will.
peace

Ok, so I'm the one thinking simply? Says man who is basicly saying: "I don't understand how this got here, so it must be some unknown higher power."
I will always be enjoying my life and exploring the wonders of it. And I will be happy for the rest of my life, the only one we have.
May the peace be with you too. And I mean it sincerely.

"I don't understand how this got here, so it must be some unknown higher power."
no, "This is impossible for chained coincidences to make this"
or "This is impossible for nature to make it"
etc

ahve a nice day

@HighFlyingDutchman It's not coincidence or chance, its evolution. It happened gradually in cumulative stages that have resulted in what we now know as the placenta.
