Go to http://www.yourguitarsage.com/guitar-lesson-ebooks/ to find out how to get a free guitar ebook that will have you playing guitar today!!! This guitar lesson vid shows you how to play Overkill, by Men at Work & Colin Hay. It shows you the chords, strumming technique and style. For more guitar lessons, see my other free tutorials. For original and cover music by me, Erich, go to http://www.myspace.com/erichandreas . Since I'm so busy making new video tutorial lessons all the time and teaching guitar, I probably won't have time to answer individual questions regarding guitar. Other videos cover beginner, advanced and intermediate levels. I teach rock, blues, country and just about any other style on electric or acoustic. If you can't find your answer from the resources at the website above, keep digging into my vids, and I'm sure you will find your answer. Keep practicing!!!

  • Firstly, the song is originally played two halfnotes brigher. So you start with a E-powerchord, not an A-powerchord. And secondly, you spend 8 minutes explaining how to play a powerchord and skips the part of the song that's somewhat challenging. You could atleast put out the tabs. This is what I hate the most in these "Guitar lessons" the tutors speak to you as if you'd never held a guitar in your hands before...

  • @pondus1492

And many never have. As it says "cover chords Beginners Acoustic!"

  • @pondus1492; Do you know anything about his videos? They are essentially for people who have never held a guitar in their hands before. If you aren't good enough to learn this song by ear, then you obviously need the extra explanation he provides. As he mentioned in the video; any experienced guitarist will be able to tell what he plays just by watching him play it at the beginning of the video. Missing a part? Look it up somewhere else. Not everything is convenient. Music requires some work.

  • @maddoxhell 7:35 Dillweed. You should know what you are talking about before opening your mouth. You'll sound more intelligent. And chorus is spelled CHORUS, there is no A. Thanks for playing champ.
