The Herpa wrapped DC-3, owned and piloted by Dan Grider and crew visits Moontown Airport in Huntsville, AL to start out there 9 day trip sponsored by AvWeb and Verizon, to promote LIVE video/messaging from the cockpit, while on the trip. Dinner and Blue Grass followed the great landing on the 2300 ft grass strip. Thanks for coming guy... Blake

Dan Gryder, owner of this DC-3, is an airline pilot and flight instructor. You can fly with him and get a type-rating to be either a solo pilot or first officer in a DC-3. His home base/flight school is in Griffin, Georgia. Pilot Getaways magazine did a story on him and this aircraft in their Sept/Oct 2007 issue
