  • That's right. If he didn't, his elbow would break.

  • I'm going to make a habit of studying these vids. He really has an awesome way of explaining the technicalities behind an art. Thank you very much Gary Sensei.

  • @billyhickey96 I know what you mean buddy! I am 6"5.

  • @Snapshot290 Didn't you see the beginning of the video? He shows this is practical even if the wrist grab is not there. The second you start to feel the arm come around, follow the motion. Spin in the direction the arm is going, sink into your stance, and move in the direction of the arms motion. Same principles.

  • isnt it juji garami?

  • I'm trying to learn this stuff before my Sensei teaches me so I already kinda have an idea of it. But I find sankyo hard to do when choked cause I'm 6'2" so I have to drop my COG alot... (COG=Center Of Gravity)

  • what is subishime?

    Neck is KUBI.

  • what if i don`t catch his hand

  • What if the person choking you doesnt have his hand gripping your wrist? CAuse it seems like thise whole technique centers around that main initial move.

  • be smart...elbow to the chest if hes got your arm, or......if hes got rear necked choke turn your head side ways and drop to the floor and well im not explainging what to do

  • that dude is flipping himself over
