I think he meant a brighter future for their (Hanwei's) wallets, not for world peace, love and understanding! But they do make very fine blades, if not always as sharp as some of their competitors.

as beatiful as it is, doesn't it hurt your hands to use it? normal swords have wooden grips that absorb the energy from impacts, this doesn't have that so is it painful to use?

Beautiful sword. I hope I get to own one someday. Would anyone know how good the quality is? Like sharpness, type of edge, durability, etc. Id be using it to practice forms, but it is after all a weapon and id like to use it as such for cutting practice. Ive seen the price as low as $431.95 so it better be a pretty good sword. Finding good Chinese swords seems so hard, unfortunately.

@Okarkar Vids demonstrating their strength, Cold Steel has THE best demonstration vids for almost ALL their swords, why cant Hanwei grab their own swords and bash them on vids showing us what they can handle i will never know.

the price of a dead pig and a few dollars for tatami cutting maybe tougher target if they really believe in their sword and you got the best advertising u can ever get for almost free and here on youtube!!

I never got why don't they sharpen their swords more? i mean that is main complain i hear.. some people say they have bad heat treatment but i am not sure about that, I really love their designs I just wish they demonstrated them just like cold steel, it would make it sooooooo much easier for me to chose and it would shut up all the bad talkers who dont even own a hanwei... I want to buy my very first battle sword, Hanwei Cold steel and Albion are top of my list, Albion has good rep and nice
