A simple Blender3D physics tutorial. Sorry there isn't sound, don't have a Mic yet, but the tutorial should still do it's job.
Steps:
1)Delete Cube that appears on startup
2)Add plane
3)Add sphere
4)Select Sphere
5)Click Game Engine Button (looks like Pac-Man)
6)Select Actor, Dynamic, and Rigid Body
7)Hover mouse over 3D Viewer and press "P"
8)Press "Esc" to exit game
9)Select the sphere
10)Click the "Edit" button (looks like a square)
11)Select "UV Face Select" from the menu that says "Object Mode"
12)Click the white box next to "Set Vertex Color"
13)Choose a color
14)Press "Set Vertex Color"
15)Do the same for the plane
16)Use "Shift"+"D" to duplicate the sphere
17)Press "P" to start the game engine
18)Press "Esc" to exit
19)Select the "Game" list from the top and check "Record Game Physics to IPO"
20)Press "P" to start the game engine
21)Press "Esc" to exit, the physics actions from the game are now recorded in the IPO
22)Use the "Up" arrow and "Down" arrow to play back the IPO

  • Whenever i try the plane falls, how do i stop this???

  • In object mode, select the plane and go into the game settings (PacMan icon). Make sure that the button "Actor" is disabled.

  • You call that a ****ing tutorial!? Are we seriously supposed to be able to see what the ****'s going on? What a complete waste of time.

  • It doesn't work for me. The ball falls, but it goes right through everything I place. What's up with that?
