  • Not a bad summary of the 14 points, but the intro, where it sounds like he says here are my 14 points for why America should enter the war, is incorrect. The U.S. was already involved in the war when this speech was given. It was more of a proposal to Congress as to the U.S. agenda upon entering the talks of the Treaty of Versailles at the end of WWI.

  • Did not finish this due to the incredible error at 25 seconds in. The 14 point was not designed to get the USA into the "1st" World War. Wilson gave the speech while the war was raging. It was his idea of how Germany should be treated after the war. Germany found it reasonable and they surrendered.
