  • This is a very nice video of Ella Jaz Kirk, my wonderful student. She composed both the melody and the words for this piece, and the orchestral arrangement was by Frederick Frahm (I hope that's right, I don't have the CD with me and I am up in Red River NM today), Maybe someone can correct me in the next comment) The arrangement was played by members of the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra. Hey Mozart is a Child Composer Contest for children in NM under 12 years of age.

  • Quite right on all accounts; note that I added all the pertinent information in the "info" section. Ella's ten .. in this life!

  • Wonderful, Ella Jaz!!

We feel honored to have you on The Morning Show yesterday!!!

  • I am so proud of my niece and the words she shares

  • Jeanie McLerie here - The proud teacher of this wonderful musician. Ella Jaz has been playing the fiddle for about 4 years I think, and she sure knows how to get around on that thing. We all live in Silver City New Mexico and it is a very inspiring environment for music. Long live acoustic music !!!!!!!
