RD - 161 - Roman, Kayla, and Kim

Kim is trying to hang on to her baby. Roman stops by for a visit bringing along baby sister Kayla. Nice joking bantering scene that I love. Too short though.

But then on a more sinister note... Roman tries to talk to Kayla, whose married to Jack at this time - evil pre-Jennifer slimy Jack. Jack shows up and interrupts, and Jack and Kayla head off as Roman stares after Kayla wondering.

They were such a nice, happy family, weren't they. John's a much nicer Roman than Roman. I seem to keep saying that in response to YT clips, but it's true. As soon as the real one comes along, his manner towards his family is so strikingly different, that it's immediately laughable anybody ever thought they were the same man.

This is why I miss John as Roman. I agree John is the better character, and I really wouldn't change that he's John now, but I do miss how wonderful he was with his family.

I really prefer a fanfic that made him Roman, but kept him with John's memories and abilities too. A blend, so it was best of both worlds. I'd like him that way.

This was when Kimberly and Kayla were the best of friends, as sisters should be, before they put Shane and Kayla (yuck) together!  What were the writers thinking? Thanks for the clip!

I so agree. It was amazing how bad Kayla/Shane were together. In contrast, every scene Kim and Shane were in, they were just beautiful together. I loved Kayla with Steve, but Shane belongs with Kim. If only they'd get them together again. I think of them as happily ever after no matter what.
