silky or pygmy anteater drinking water. Rescued at the Otorongo lodge outside of Iquitos Peru.

    I was looking for some info and seems like we have that specie here in my country. And as I am a spanish speaker im trying to find out how it's called in spanish..

  • where can i find more info about this animal?. I only know the giant one and tamanduas..

  • I will have to ask my son, he is in the jungle now and wont be back for a week.

  • He sounds like a Geiger-counter.

  • Silky anteaters do not survive well at all in captivity best to leave it to rescuers.
